Community Health Worker Trainees

In March 2005 the medical team from St. John's trained 16 students of Collège Ste. Jean Baptiste as future community health workers (CHW). As part of their supervised training, the CHWs examined about 100 students at the Pope Jean Paul II elementary school in Baradères for a variety of common skin and other health problems.

They did a marvelous job, and their caring attitude towards the young children was very clear.
