January 2002 visit The St. John's team that visited Baradères in January 2002, from left to right: physician Steve Osborne; Kim Lamberty, SJB Social Concerns director; Rodney Kerby, a college mathematics professor; and Myriam Louis-Charles, a registered nurse. Rodney and Myriam are natives of Haiti. On January 12, Steve, Kim and Rodney flew to Port-au-Prince; Myriam was already there. Father Pascal drove from Baradères, picked up Myriam at her mother's home in the city, and met the rest of the team at the airport for the grueling drive back to Baradères. |
