Letter from Emilienne in
Baradères To the parish of St. John the Baptist, It's a great day for me. I want to say thank you to all of you in the name of Jesus for all the care and the prayers you said for us. My family and all the people from the parish in Baradères say thank you to all of you. May God bless you in special ways. We never thought Jean-Pierre's life would be blessed like this so much. Thank you for the party, toys and the clothes, but mostly for the hospital. All of you made me have a taste of life and a better hope in life. I am praying for all of you. I got home o.k. I really appreciate all the effort, for the doctors, the staff and to all my brothers and sisters. Thank you and God bless you all! Your
sister, [Jean Pierre's surgery was performed at Georgetown University Hospital, where the physicians' and hospital fees were waived via Catholic Charities. His hearing loss was also evaluated and plans are being made for him to be fitted with a hearing aid in Part-au-Prince as soon as possible.] |
